--=-BE9IynXfV5AMj2SFZAux Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Well I think a few facts need be known before the anti veridas trolls pop their heads out of the bunkholes and accuse all nasty things... traceroute to koalatelecom.com.au (202.52.49.171), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets 1 gw (192.168.0.1) 0.869 ms 3.351 ms 0.686 ms 2 172.29.61.137 (172.29.61.137) 7.348 ms 7.089 ms 8.135 ms 3 172.31.224.230 (172.31.224.230) 9.925 ms 9.799 ms 9.583 ms 4 192.168.10.2 (192.168.10.2) 10.678 ms 10.625 ms 10.972 ms 5 GE-2-0.lut-bne.veridas.net (202.52.46.70) 10.126 ms 10.102 ms=20 10.202 ms 6 202.52.49.171 (202.52.49.171) 10.969 ms 10.826 ms 10.805 ms telnet mail.koalatelecom.com.au 25 Trying 202.52.49.171... Connected to 202.52.49.171. Escape character is '^]'. 220 venus3.veridas.net ESMTP So it seems Koalatelecom is a visp of Veridas, maybe hes moving away, who knows, but he must be a current financial visp for services to still respond, is it a case of he is just leaving and not telling? If he's a financial customer Veridas has every right to keep his DNS and Web and Mail in place until he advises them he no longer wants it (or stops paying his bills) to do otherwise would be seen as DNS tampering. After all do you just pull your customers DNS records and shut down there mail ability if they pay their bills and you dont get a request to remove DNS or close mail or whatever... I would hope no one here does that. Maybe Curtis would like to clarify if he has sent Veridas a letter or fax asking to remove DNS or all his services, since hes made a statement inferring Veridas is doing naughty things he needs to clarify this for us all.
