Hello Vic, The very same thing happened to us when we were starting out. The only way to tackle Telstra (i feel) is to write to the ombudsman. We wrote and claimed losses due to overtime paid to workman after we'd committed our consultants but Telstra got the wrong address (3 times, would you believe). The bottom line was that we were given a credit on our ISDN bill equivalent to the damages we claimed. The ombudsman is there for a reason, i suggest you use them.
