www.cisco.com will tell you how to do password recovery on any Cisco
device without much effort searching.  It usually involves pressing
break on a serial console during boot-up, but I'm not 100% sure for
the 2900 as the older ones will be re-badged Kalpanas.

If it's an old 2900 it probably isn't running IOS but you can upgrade
it to IOS if you have a Cisco support contract.
