Subject: [Oz-ISP] No glue with namescout?
No followups recorded.

I've just moved my net.au domain over to namescout, and they've managed
to put it in without any glue for the nameserver within the domain.  ie :

; <<>> DiG 8.3 <<>> doc.net.au @ns2.ausregistry.net ns
; (1 server found)
;; res options: init recurs defnam dnsrch
;; got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 6
;; flags: qr rd; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 3, ADDITIONAL: 0
;; QUERY SECTION:
;;      doc.net.au, type = NS, class = IN

;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
doc.net.au.             1H IN NS        ns0.xname.org.
doc.net.au.             1H IN NS        ns1.doc.net.au.
doc.net.au.             1H IN NS        ns1.xname.org.

Any I missing something here, or have they screwed up?

If you've got a domain with them you might like to check it's got glue...

  Scott.
