Hello All, I am having a problem with squid sibling peers that is driving me clear 'round the bend. There are 2 servers set up, as squid cache siblings. The problem is that one server is sending/recieving ICP requests just fine, and behaving just like a sibling should. However the other server is not. The catch is, that other than the appropriate changes to the peer IPs in the squid.conf, the two configs are *identical*. The have peered quite happily in the past, but one day they stopped, and havent worked since. Closer inspection indicates that the faulty server is not even sending any ICP requests. Any thoughts on this matter would be greaty appreciated. *snippet of relevent squid.conf stuff* icp_port 3130 acl starnet_peers src 192.168.0.7/32 http_access allow starnet_peers cache_peer 192.168.0.7 sibling 3128 3130 proxy-only #prevents loops cache_peer_access 192.168.0.7 deny starnet_peers *from cache.log* 2003/09/01 01:46:40| Accepting ICP messages at 0.0.0.0, port 3130, FD 11. 2003/09/01 01:46:40| Outgoing ICP messages on port 3130, FD 12. 2003/09/01 01:46:40| WCCP Disabled. 2003/09/01 01:46:40| Configuring Sibling 192.168.0.7/8080/3130 -- Best regards, Ben m a i l t o : b s h o r t @ s h o r t b o y . n e t ---- email "unsubscribe aussie-isp" to m a j o r d o m o @ a u s s i e . n e t to be removed. |
