Cheers for the reply. And yes, Bigpond and friends will be a problem. The
way we plan to overcome this is to recruit non-telco ISP's first, then
engage in brand advertising to get people aware of the system. The idea is
to get Bigpond's customers to whinge at them to make the service available
to them. Its the only way I can see it happening. But I reckon there is a
reasonable chance of it working. If all other ISP's offer the system,
Bigpond will be forced to join as well. We will be recruiting small ISP's
first (~15,000 clients), then mid sized (20,000 - 100,000) followed by large
non telco ISP's like iiNet. The reason why I believe non-telco ISP's will be
receptive of the system is because they can claim their customer base is
worth more in consolidation or when pumping up their share price.

The biggest question/problem I can see is how you will get a big
conglomerate like Bigpond to join? They are very political and slow
moving and unfortunately have a big chunk of users. How do you plan to
overcome this problem?
