Oz-ISP is an open list where the relationship between any given correspondent and the ISP industry is usually unknown. It's hard to assess most contributions as the role of the poster in the industry is mostly unknown. I don't think it's useful to restrict the membership of such an ISP forum. I do think that anyone posting to the list, who wants to be taken seriously, should identify their role within the industry, i.e are they a current/former network/ISP owner, operator, employee or customer and of how many years standing.
